Carl Zeiss – Researchers & innovators
Founders Carl Zeiss and Ernst Abbe, together with Otto Schott, established the modern optical industry and enabled fundamental discoveries in medicine and science. Carl Zeiss lenses were used to shoot the 1969 moon landing. The company still continues the tradition of research and innovation today.

Varifocal lenses
Your vision is unlike anyone else’s. Your prescription, the frames you choose, and even the way your eyewear is positioned on your face affect how well your progressive lenses perform for you. That’s why ZEISS Progressive Individual® 2 is unlike any other progressive lens.
Your ZEISS Progressive Individual® 2 lenses will be designed precisely for your prescription, and manufactured up to six times more accurately than ordinary progressives. You’ll enjoy wide, spacious fields of clear vision — up to 50% larger than ordinary progressive lenses.
Anti Reflective Coatings
Distracting surface reflections interfere with vision and serve as “visual noise” that degrades visual clarity, particularly in low-light conditions such as night driving. Uncoated eyeglass lenses are also susceptible to scratching from cleaning or normal wear and tear as well as to dirt, grease, and oil, all of which can compromise your vision quality.
ZEISS invented anti-reflective technology, and continues to develop clearer, more durable lens coatings to ensure that you see your best, look your best, and protect your lenses, no matter what life throws at you. ZEISS coatings consist of an integrated series of protective layers that offer various benefits to improve your vision, make your lenses easier to clean, and protect your lenses from wear and tear
